At Beaufort Memorial, we take our mission to enhance the quality of life in the Lowcountry through improved health, innovative partnerships and superior care very seriously. We are committed to providing the best possible experience for our patients, and your feedback is one way we can ensure that we are living up to that goal.


Shortly after going home, you may receive a survey in the mail asking you to tell us how we performed on some key aspects of your hospital stay, including communication, responsiveness, medication safety and how prepared you were to go home. We have partnered with Press Ganey, a national leader in measuring the patient experience, to conduct this survey.


If you receive a survey, please take a few minutes to tell us about your experience. Your responses are anonymous unless you choose to share your name. If you prefer not to receive a survey, please inform a staff member as soon as possible.


If we are not delivering on our promise to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care, please let us know right away. You may ask to speak with a supervisor or call the patient advocate directly at 843-522-5172. We want to resolve any concerns you may have as quickly as possible.
